Indonesia has been selected as the host of IMF – World Bank Annual Meetings 2018. The Meetings is one of the largest and influential events on finance and economy, where it brings together Central Bank Governors and Ministers of Finance from 189 countries along with prominent persons from private sector, academics, NGO, and media. In total, there will be approximately 15,000 participants. Also featured are side events, such as seminars, investment forum, FGD, workshop, and cultural events. IMF – World Bank Annual Meetings 2018 will be held in Bali, which has been named as 2017 TripAdvisor's  best global destination. Bali will surely make The Meetings a memorable experience.The Meetings will benefit Indonesia, both in short and long term, particularly in foreign exchange reserve gain, trade and investment, tourism, and Indonesian leadership in region.The main objectives of hosting The Meetings are showcasing Indonesia and Asia as a reformed, resilient, and progressive economies; along with higher engagement with IMF and WB with less stigma.
